The new recently installed coffee roaster at the Orchard Street Roasting Plant in action.
This is a thing of beauty, power, and wonder. It also roasts great coffee.

While I was at a benefit at the Ranshackle Penthouse, I noticed one of the residents of Westbeth Artists Community on Washington and Bethune Street doing some sort of solo interpretive dance for all of NYC. Pretty amazing…

This city government site allows you to enter and map your own idea for improving the city. You even get to leave your e-mail, presumeably in case Mayor Bloomberg needs to contact you for clarification. You never know!
